TC4: Understanding
Buildings
ARMA currently offers a
one day training course entitled TC4: Understanding Buildings. This
course will deal with both common and not so common questions that
managing agents may have relating to the field of "buildings". This
course will also cover extremely valuable construction lessons on
topics such as plumbing, roofs, foundations and other issues
relating to the basic structure of buildings (both old and new). You
will also learn about defects and how to properly deal with them.
For example you may not know how to deal with problematic plumbing,
dry rot, dampness or roofing issues. This course will cover all of
these and other aspects related to buildings.
Who should enroll in this
course?
This course is intended
for property managers who have experience working with buildings and
have encountered some of the problems mentioned above . While this
course will qualify you as a building surveyor, it will give you the
needed advice and vocabulary to both sound and act in a professional
manner when problems relating to building management come up.
