The Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) Membership?

 

ARMA currently has over 175 corporate members estimated to be managing around 75.000 leasehold units. At this number the ARMA must ensure they abide by both government regulation, and their own self imposed regulation to help protect all parties involved in leasehold contracts.

 

How to become a member:

 

To become a member of ARMA you will need to write into their main office or call their headquarters to ask for a full membership application package. As a member of this organization you will have access to many special benefits such as training courses, free business support, networking opportunities, full entry to the website, the use of the ARMA logo on your business literature, ARMA handbook and much more.

 

2 types of membership:

 

To become a member of ARMA you must first decide which membership package suits you best. You can chose to be either a "corporate member" or an "affiliate member". A corporate member must be involved with the practice of leasehold management. It is not necessary that this be the main function of your business but it does need to be part of your product mix. As an "affiliation" member you do not need to be practicing residential leasing. In fact your main business can be in the realm of accounting, law or any other profession where you feel having access to some of the benefits listed above would both benefit you and the ARMA organization.
